Because air takes up space, there is air in the bottle at the bottom. As the air moves up it forces the water to move around it as it moves down, forming a vortex.

Field trip

I got out EWW! what was that smell oh gosh the rubbish. I could tell this would be a great field trip, not! I could here feet crunching the old dead leafs someone was comeing it was the tore gide. "Hello everyone," she said politely. "Welcome to the transfer station" I chould see room 8 climb out of the bus. The rest of room 9 was already out. It was Friday. "Come, come children
this way," the tore gide said with a smile.
She took us the a small tent were she had heps of different types of plastic. She told us lots of stuff about plastic. When she was done talking to us she took us to heaps of rubbish it looked like my dads bed. "We are all done guys. Time to eat morning tea." Back too the bus we went.
The bus slowed down we got out at the landfill I wanted to barf. I almost fainted the smell was to horrid. I hered a big ew!!!!!!! everyone was grossed out too. There was another lady who toled us heaps of things about the landfill. We had to were a nyon yellow jackit so the truk drivers saw us. The lady called angala told us in 12 years time the vally would be filed up with layers of rubbish.
We asked her some questions before we went back to the bus. We asked how did you fill all of this land with rubbish in just 2 years? and stuff like that. Then it was back to school.
